Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise 2-4 dogs simultaneously in designated neighborhoods
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks
- Provide feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup services
- Administer basic medications as required (training provided)
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs for each pet
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app/text
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 18 years old with ability to lift 30+ lbs
- Excellent physical stamina and all-weather walking capability
- Strong observational skills for animal behavior
- Trustworthy background check required
- Basic smartphone proficiency for scheduling apps
- Animal CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Local Bakersfield residency preferred
