Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in various New Orleans neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication) as instructed
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each dog
- Ensure safety during group walks and transport
- Build strong relationships with clients and their pets
- Adhere to strict animal welfare protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Local New Orleans knowledge essential
