Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per group) using proper leash handling techniques
- Provide feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup services during walks
- Monitor pets for behavioral changes or health concerns and report issues promptly
- Maintain detailed digital records of walks, pet behavior, and owner requests
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Communicate professionally with owners via app and text updates
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet care best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification for pets or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Strong physical ability to handle active dogs in various weather
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Professional communication with diverse clientele
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
