Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in various Anchorage neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and owner communication
- Ensure all animals are secured during transport and outings
- Report any behavioral or health concerns promptly
- Maintain clean equipment and sanitized walking areas
- Adhere to all safety protocols and client instructions
Qualifications
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling
- Physical ability to handle large dogs and walk in varied terrain
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
