Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs off-leash in designated Tucson parks
- Administer medication and provide basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and client communication
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments
- Implement positive reinforcement training during walks
- Ensure pet safety in extreme desert temperatures
- Uphold strict cleanliness and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Professional pet first/CPR certification preferred
- Experience handling large and small dog breeds
- Exceptional animal empathy and observation skills
- Ability to work independently in Tucson heat
- Background check clearance required
- Strong communication and time management abilities
