Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise multiple dogs simultaneously in various San Diego neighborhoods
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed digital logs of pet behavior and service delivery
- Administer first aid and emergency protocols when necessary
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming facilities using company vehicles
- Build strong client relationships through consistent communication and updates
- Adhere to all city leash laws and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to ethical care practices
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Local San Diego knowledge preferred
