Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or small groups in designated Atlanta neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as needed
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed digital logs of each pet's activities and well-being
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments or grooming sessions
- Execute emergency protocols during extreme weather events
- Build trust-based relationships with pet owners and their furry companions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Availability for early morning, evening, and weekend shifts
- Ability to walk dogs up to 80 lbs in various weather conditions
- Proficient with smartphone apps for scheduling and communication
