Responsibilities
- Execute espresso extraction and milk-steaming techniques with precision
- Develop signature seasonal beverage menus using premium ingredients
- Train junior staff on coffee preparation and customer service standards
- Manage inventory ordering and maintain pristine workspace conditions
- Engage customers with coffee education and personalized recommendations
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Contribute to store visual merchandising and ambiance maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with portfolio of latte art
- SCA Barista/Barista Guild certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of bean origins and brewing methodologies
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Basic inventory management and POS proficiency
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent
