Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee beverages using premium techniques and equipment
- Deliver personalized guest experiences with detailed knowledge of coffee origins and brewing methods
- Maintain immaculate café standards including hygiene, equipment maintenance, and inventory management
- Collaborate with team to develop seasonal menu innovations and tasting events
- Train junior baristas on advanced coffee preparation and customer service protocols
- Manage cash handling and POS systems with precision
- Participate in local coffee community events and supplier relationships
Qualifications
- 3+ years premium barista experience with specialty coffee certification
- Expert knowledge of espresso extraction, latte art, and alternative brewing methods
- Exceptional customer service skills with ability to discern guest preferences
- Strong inventory management and cash handling experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic understanding of coffee sourcing, roasting profiles, and flavor notes
