Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus, answer detailed questions about menu items, and make knowledgeable recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Deliver orders promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Upsell products and beverages to enhance the guest experience and achieve revenue goals.
- Process payments accurately and securely using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with a focus on exceeding expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, waiter, or waitress is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess a valid food handler's permit or equivalent certification.
