Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of food and drink offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.
- Handle payments accurately using POS systems.
- Upsell specials and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Clear tables and reset dining areas promptly after service.
Qualifications
- Previous server or hospitality experience preferred (but willing to train).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
- Valid Food Service Handler Permit (if required by state).
