Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive table service with menu knowledge and upselling expertise
- Process orders accurately through POS systems while maintaining table cleanliness
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen/bar teams for timely food/beverage delivery
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Execute opening/closing duties including restocking and sanitization
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and allergen awareness standards
- Contribute to a positive team environment during peak service hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year restaurant serving experience preferred
- Illinois Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency
- Valid state ID and reliable transportation
