Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with menu knowledge and wine pairing expertise
- Manage point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for seamless order execution
- Process payments and maintain cash handling compliance
- Ensure dining area cleanliness and table turnover standards
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
- Participate in opening/closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year restaurant server experience preferred
- Must be 18+ to serve alcohol in Maryland
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Food Handler's Certification (or willing to obtain)
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
