Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service, including order taking, beverage refills, and meal delivery
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions
- Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food timing and resolve guest concerns
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Adhere to food safety standards and maintain sanitary work practices
- Assist with opening/closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of restaurant server experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math proficiency for order accuracy and cash handling
- Must be available weekends and evenings (including holidays)
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude with a passion for exceptional service
