Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, providing menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
- Deliver orders efficiently, ensuring food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
- Cross-train in other service roles, such as bartending or bussing, as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible service practices.
