Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide detailed food/beverage recommendations
- Take accurate orders and input efficiently into POS systems
- Coordinate with kitchen/bar staff for seamless order execution
- Manage table assignments and maintain clean, well-stocked stations
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions securely
- Resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Adhere to all health/safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Contribute to daily pre-shift briefings and post-closing duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months food service experience preferred
- CA Food Handler Card required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of wine, craft cocktails, and menu ingredients
- Ability to multitask in high-energy environments
- Exceptional communication and time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to downtown SF location
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
