Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly table service to 4-6 tables simultaneously
- Accurately input orders into POS system and communicate kitchen needs
- Present menu knowledge and make recommendations based on guest preferences
- Process payments efficiently and handle cash/credit transactions
- Maintain clean dining stations and assist with table bussing
- Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen staff during peak hours
- Upsell appetizers, desserts, and specialty beverages
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months restaurant serving experience preferred
- TAMC alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling
