Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service to 4-6 tables simultaneously while maintaining accuracy in orders and timing
- Execute food and beverage service with precision, adhering to presentation standards
- Process payments efficiently through our POS system while handling cash transactions securely
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and bar team to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintain clean and organized station setup throughout shifts
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and solutions-oriented approach
- Contribute to daily pre-shift briefings and maintain comprehensive menu knowledge
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of restaurant/server experience in high-volume establishments
- Valid DC Food Handler's certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and bill calculations
