Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming smile, ensuring they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and provide detailed, knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverages tailored to guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and promptly.
- Deliver orders to tables with precision, ensuring temperature and presentation standards are met.
- Check on guests periodically to address any needs or concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and resolve any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations (ABC laws).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often during peak dining hours.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
