Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, friendly service to guests while maintaining professional standards
- Accurately take and process food/drink orders using POS systems
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery
- Present menus, explain specials, and make informed recommendations
- Manage table turnover efficiently while maintaining cleanliness
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with diplomacy
- Close out checks and process payments accurately
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or upscale casual restaurant experience
- Strong knowledge of food/beverage service standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available evenings and weekends (15-25 hours/week)
- Ohio Food Handler certification required
- TABC alcohol service certification preferred
