Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor and ensure they feel comfortable.
- Present menus, provide detailed descriptions of food and beverages, and answer questions regarding ingredients and preparation.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff with precision.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with food, service, and overall experience.
- Process payments efficiently using the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables.
- Upsell additional items and suggest pairings to enhance the guest dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; physical stamina is required.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
