Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, friendly service to guests while maintaining knowledge of menu items and specials
- Process orders accurately through our modern POS system
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Manage table cleanliness and reset stations efficiently during peak hours
- Upsell menu items and promotional offerings to enhance guest experience
- Handle payment transactions and reconcile cash drawers
- Collaborate with bartenders and support staff to maintain seamless service flow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of restaurant serving experience preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency for order accuracy and cash handling
- Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Valid Indiana Food Handler Card required within 30 days
