Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service to guests, including order taking, beverage service, and food delivery
- Master menu knowledge and recommend dishes based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow
- Maintain clean and organized dining stations throughout shifts
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Contribute to a positive team culture through open communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant server experience preferred
- Valid Michigan Food Handler's certification (or ability to obtain)
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods
