Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service including order taking, food/drink delivery, and bill presentation
- Build rapport with guests while maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff during peak hours
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions
- Maintain clean, well-stocked dining areas and sanitize tables between guests
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Contribute to a positive team culture through open communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months prior serving experience in full-service restaurant
- Must be 18+ years old (alcohol service certification a plus)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in fast-paced environment
- Food safety certification (ServSafe preferred) or willingness to obtain
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
