Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations, including answering multi-line phones, screening calls, and transferring inquiries to the appropriate team members with professionalism.
- Greet and welcome visitors warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable while checking in guests and managing visitor badges as needed.
- Schedule and confirm patient/appointment appointments using our digital calendar systems, ensuring the schedule is optimized and organized.
- Process payments and handle front-desk transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining the reception areaβs cleanliness and organization.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, maintaining a polite and helpful demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous receptionist experience is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with appointment scheduling software (e.g., Practice Fusion, AthenaHealth) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and data.
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work a consistent part-time schedule (typically 20-30 hours per week).
