Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional front-desk support by greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate personnel or waiting areas.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including answering phone calls, screening calls, and responding to emails promptly.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area to ensure a positive first impression.
- Process incoming mail, packages, and faxes, ensuring they are distributed to the correct departments efficiently.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating patient records.
- Handle cash handling and payments for services rendered accurately and securely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Must have basic knowledge of office equipment, including printers and scanners.
