Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate care pathways across multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with strict HIPAA compliance
- Act as primary liaison between patients, providers, and insurance specialists
- Assist with patient intake, insurance verification, and eligibility screening
- Manage patient communications via phone, email, and secure messaging portals
- Support quality improvement initiatives through data collection and analysis
- Coordinate telehealth visits and remote patient monitoring programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare preferred
- 1+ years experience in medical office administration or patient coordination
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance processes
