Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols to prevent security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations following established protocols
- Document all incidents, observations, and patrol activities in detailed daily reports
- Screen visitors and vehicles at access points while maintaining professional customer service
- Operate security equipment including CCTV systems, alarms, and communication devices
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary information and sensitive data
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid California Guard Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during overnight shifts
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication abilities
- Basic proficiency in using surveillance technology and reporting software
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
