Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned premises to detect security risks and prevent unauthorized access
- Operate CCTV systems and alarm monitoring equipment
- Respond to emergency incidents and coordinate with law enforcement
- Manage visitor access control and issue temporary passes
- Document daily activity logs and incident reports
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance reports
- Provide excellent customer service to building tenants
- Collaborate with day-shift security teams for seamless coverage
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Security Officer License (mandatory)
- Minimum 1-year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours during shifts
- Strong observational and written communication skills
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting software
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for flexible night shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
