Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations overnight
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, mobility, and medication administration
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation during night shift
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff for urgent patient needs
- Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and well-stocked
- Respond to patient call lights promptly and provide emotional support
- Prepare patients for early morning procedures or examinations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Availability to work 24-32 hours per week on nights (11 PM - 7 AM)
