Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to overnight care requests
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Current New York State CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in overnight/night shift settings
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Proficient in electronic medical records systems (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid New York State driver's license (for emergency transport if required)
