Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care transitions during overnight shifts, ensuring seamless handovers between day and night teams
- Monitor patient vitals and electronic health records, flagging any concerning changes to on-call physicians
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols while maintaining accurate documentation
- Respond to patient inquiries and emergencies with calm professionalism, providing reassurance and support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care plans and address overnight care needs
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards throughout all interactions
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in overnight healthcare or urgent care setting
- BLS/CPR certification with ability to obtain ACLS within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to remain composed under pressure
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation for overnight shifts
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours during shifts
