Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications during night shift hours
- Coordinate care plans with daytime medical teams for seamless transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and quick decision-making
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and incident documentation
- Support patient comfort and provide emotional assistance during overnight hours
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure facility safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current RN or LVN license in Texas state
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/long-term care setting
- Availability to work 3+ nights per week (schedule flexibility required)
- BLS/CPR certification with ability to maintain throughout employment
- Strong communication skills for inter-departmental reporting
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain alert during overnight hours
