Responsibilities
- Provide tier-one technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist with hardware setup, including laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot common software issues and perform basic system maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of help desk tickets and resolutions.
- Monitor and report on IT asset inventory and security compliance.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new software updates and security patches.
- Offer exceptional customer service to ensure high user satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- Basic understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting.
