Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing 10-15 events monthly across New Orleans venues
- Coordinate vendor logistics including catering, floral, and entertainment
- Manage event timelines and client communications via email and phone
- Conduct venue walkthroughs and setup/breakdown coordination
- Create detailed event binders with floor plans and vendor contacts
- Handle day-of logistics including guest registration and troubleshooting
- Post-event reporting and client satisfaction follow-up
Qualifications
- 1+ years event planning or hospitality experience preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Social Tables)
- Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed for events
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Knowledge of New Orleans venues and local vendors
- Proven problem-solving skills under pressure
