Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for 5-15 private events monthly (weddings, corporate gatherings, festivals)
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with local New Orleans suppliers
- Create detailed event timelines and ensure flawless execution on-site
- Oversee setup/teardown processes and maintain quality control standards
- Collaborate with clients to design customized experiences reflecting NOLA culture
- Monitor event budgets and provide post-event analytics reports
Qualifications
- 2+ years event coordination or hospitality experience preferred
- Proficiency in event management software (Eventbrite, Cvent)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work evenings/weekends (flexible schedule required)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of New Orleans venues and local vendors
