Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital sign measurements during evening/weekend hours
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation accurately
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms
- Handle patient scheduling and appointment reminders for weekend shifts
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Availability for consistent evening (4 PM-10 PM) and weekend shifts
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ohio state medical assistant license
