Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, feeding, and mobility
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing under supervision
- Respond to patient call bells and provide timely assistance
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CNA, EMT, or Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
