Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Organize and maintain the sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively and inventory is stocked.
- Assist in stockroom operations, including receiving shipments and tagging new merchandise.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
