Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled dog walks, ensuring each pet receives adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
- Administer medication, treats, and follow specific feeding or behavioral instructions provided by pet owners.
- Maintain a clean environment by promptly cleaning up pet waste in public areas and on client properties.
- Monitor the health and safety of pets throughout the duration of the walk, reporting any injuries or unusual behavior to management immediately.
- Keep accurate digital logs of walk times, distances, and client interactions.
- Engage in positive and safe interactions with pets, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners before and after walks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or veterinary assistance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk briskly for 1-2 hours at a time in various weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and safety protocols.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and a pet temperament assessment.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a plus.
