Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques
- Provide personalized attention and playtime during walks
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns
- Maintain detailed records of walks and client interactions
- Administer basic medications if certified
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments upon request
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all animals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability weekdays and weekends (mornings/evenings)
