Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential neighborhoods and designated parks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication) as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, health, and activity levels
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming facilities when needed
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Build strong relationships with clients and their pets through personalized care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle with pet-safe transportation equipment
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with strong time management
- Physical stamina to handle dogs up to 80 pounds
- Trustworthiness with background check verification
