Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 2-4 dogs simultaneously in Miami's scenic parks and neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Maintain detailed activity logs and health observations for each dog
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, leash management)
- Adapt walks to individual dog needs (temperament, energy levels, special requirements)
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all outdoor excursions
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Exceptional knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Strong physical fitness to handle active dogs in Miami's climate
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
