Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in various Tucson neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, fresh water, and bathroom breaks
- Monitor pet behavior and report health concerns to owners
- Clean up after pets and maintain clean equipment
- Administer basic medications (if certified)
- Build trust with pets and owners through consistent care
- Track service logs and client preferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year dog handling experience (personal or professional)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Physical ability to walk dogs in desert heat
- Trustworthy background check required
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR preferred
- Strong understanding of canine behavior
