Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately at the point of sale.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection and inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, debit, and gift card payments while ensuring all transactions are balanced.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves as needed.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalations with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is a plus.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
