Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/card payments
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and friendly assistance
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and credit card machines efficiently
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Support inventory management by counting cash and reconciling daily sales reports
- Adhere to all security protocols and loss prevention procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong numerical accuracy and cash handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn POS systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
