As a Cashier, you are the first point of contact for our valued customers. We pride ourselves on accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Accurately scan items and process customer payments via cash, credit, or mobile apps.
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and offer assistance with their shopping needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary checkout counter at all times.
- Handle cash registers with precision, ensuring all transactions are balanced at the end of the shift.
- Process returns, exchanges, and loyalty program redemptions efficiently.
- Assist with inventory stocking and price changes when not at the register.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
