Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and security protocols.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and answering general store questions.
- Keep the checkout counter, register area, and sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous cash handling or retail experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle money with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
