Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with bagging groceries and maintaining the cleanliness of the checkout area.
- Restock shelves and organize the front-of-store displays as needed.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
