Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Bag groceries and assist with cart returns.
- Monitor the sales floor for inventory levels and assist with stocking.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer inquiries and process returns promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
